Im 22 years old. Its always hard to answer this question because I’ve moved so many times as a kid. I was born in San Francisco, California. I was only in California for a few months after being born. I’ve lived in California, Maryland, Texas, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. Im currently in California again, i’ve been here since June.
I wanted to start modeling when I was in the 9th or 10th grade. My mom got my little sister into modeling and she kinda got me excited about doing it. I started just taking pictures with friends etc. who had cameras to just get comfortable during shoots. Honestly I didn’t really start modeling until about January of this year.
Probably the hardest part is just getting noticed and catching the eyes of brands, and clothing lines etc. to work with. Im overcoming that by just being really person with these people, and developing a lot of connections and relationships with people in higher positions. A lot of people are scared to talk to them but me on the other hand id rather work with companies one-on-one rather than through a middle man.
Theres a lot of guys that inspire me either fashion wise and model wise. Don Benjamin is someone I look up to because his passion for modeling and his positive attitude. some others I look up to are Kanye West who is my biggest inspiration. Asap Rocky, Adam Pu, and Tyson Beckford.
So far my favorite gig has to be modeling for World Star Hip Hop. I originally met them in Austin, Texas at SXSW, Gerry ( the Creative Director ) ran into me when I was modeling and working for a local clothing store ” Collective Status ” He told me he wanted to work with me in the future and when i moved to LA he contacted me and had me setup the entire shoot ( cast models, photographer, videographer, and location ) and the rest is history. I’ve now done about 3 or more shoots for WSHH and I have a lot more things in store for the future. Im truly blessed to have met Gerry, he’s now a mentor and good friend of mine.
When I’m not modeling I’m writing music, some people know I make music and some are still finding it out. I actually started music first at 8 years old. I used to feature in a local Maryland christian rap groups songs, rapping on choruses etc. As I got older I got into poetry which eventually got me into doing music.
No, I currently do not have a girlfriend. I’ve tried before and was never able to get a girlfriend lol. I was always shy of girls and scared to talk to them (I still kinda am). Now that I’m getting bigger into modeling its harder to find a girl who understands the industry and that there are going to be fans, and girls who like me and have her totally be comfortable with that. Now I just use that as a sign to focus on myself and my future. I think trust and communication are mainly what it takes to have a long lasting relationship in this industry. I can have thousands of girls wanting to be with me but at the end of the day I’m not going to give everyone my full attention just my significant other once she comes around.
Definitely a lot more projects with WSHH. I plan on attending Agenda in Las Vegas this august with WSHH. I’ve recently done projects with FlashxHype, Karmaloop, and Jack Threads.
My biggest supporter has to be my twin sister Alyssa, she’s always been there for me and kept me motivated. I have a lot of supporters all over the U. S. that have followed me since I started making youtube videos a long time ago. Florida holds a lot of my supporters because I graduated from high school there and I have friends and fans that still are cheering me on every step of the way.
To be honest I really don’t deal with haters. I take criticism well, everyone is entitled to their opinion so I don’t get mad i just peep what they have to say and keep it pushing. Good vibes only.
